At IWES KITCHEN, the name holds a special meaning. “IWE” is derived from the Yoruba word for “book,” and it was a cherished childhood nickname given to our CEO and President of the Omoluabi e.V Germany, Bidemi Omoyeni. This name reflects our commitment to preserving and sharing the authentic flavors of African cuisine, much like the pages of a cherished book.
